Donation Programmes

Hong Chi Social Enterprise Office (SEO) has been providing non-subvented on-the-job training for trainees with intellectual disabilities in a real-life work environment to help explore their job interests. The SEO has also been actively reaching out to different types of business corporations and organizations to explore additional opportunities for trainees, so that they can put their skills into practice which ultimately will assist them to integrate into society.

Tsang Chun Fung was a trainee in Hong Chi Pinehill Integrated Vocational Training Centre, where he received training in culinary art and developed management know-how in culinary operations and catering business. In 2023, Chun Fung started his job placement in Café de Coral as a shop assistant. He became a contracted employee after the placement and has been working in the restaurant for over a year since then. This opportunity allows Chun Fung to put the skills he learnt into practice and to develop his communication skills. He enjoys working as a team and other teammates also speak highly of him.  

We will continue to explore more training and employment opportunities for our trainees.
